NBC, in its infinite stupidity, made a shocking decision to make its best Thursday night comedy a midseason replacement. What does this mean for the hilarious people of Pawnee? This means we, the viewers, won’t view their hijinks until January 2011. We are determined to see Parks and Recreation–one of the best, if not the best, comedy shows in the NBC Thursday line-up (or any channel’s any night line-up)–return to a full schedule in its regular time.
Not gonna happen, you say? Do the names Cagney and Lacey ring a bell? How about Felicity? Roswell? Fan campaigns to save shows can be successful, and sometimes a cancelled show can be resurrected ala Family Guy.
So check here for the latest updates from Save Parks and Rec–over the coming days and weeks we’ll make such a good case for this show you’ll be in the street with a pitchfork in no time.
